Case Study with Unilever
Unilever wanted to better understand changing consumer behaviour and engage more effectively with retailers to solve their biggest problems.
We built a first of its kind retail innovation lab in the CHQ building in Dublin in partnership with Unilever where they could spend time collaborating with their retail partners to identify their biggest pain points. We then curated the most cutting edge technology solutions that could be tested and validated in the retail lab and then deployed in stores.
Unilever partnered with SeeChange, a subsidiary of ARM, one of the world’s leading IOT firms, to implement their computer vision software into a live retail environment. The software monitors shelves in real time ensuring high value items are never left unstocked, greatly improving efficiency.

Case Study with ESB & X_Site
ESB is leading the transition to a zero-carbon future in Ireland and its incubator is focused on helping achieve that goal. It aims to identify, test and validate new business ideas that could deliver new revenue streams to ESB Group to achieve its Brighter Future pledge of Net Zero by 2040.
ESB and Dogpatch Labs developed a three-month incubator programme to bring staff ideas from concept to investable proposition. Top entrepreneurs, industry experts and startups from Dogpatch Labs’ extensive international network support staff throughout the process, and feedback has been hugely positive from participants through to C-Level.
Many exciting projects have emerged from the X_Potential incubator since 2019, and are currently at different stages of development. These include everything from a one-stop-shop retrofitting service to e-mobility hubs to subsea cable repair. For more information, see our Partner page.

Case Study with Alltech and the Pearse Lyons Accelerator
Alltech is one of the world’s leading agricultural feed companies. It wanted to work with disruptive agritech startups with proven technology and a big market opportunity that could be realised through Alltech’s expertise and network.
Dogpatch Labs partnered with Alltech to help establish and run the world’s leading non-equity, late-stage AgTech accelerator. We identified and selected the best startups from around the world and picked the top 10 to participate. Over the course of 3 months, the startups collaborated with Alltech to set up pilots and form exclusive partnerships.
Six of the 10 startups participating in the accelerator were featured by CB Insights in “Agtech: 100+ Technology Companies Changing The Farm”, showing our success in driving growth and revenues.
